I’m using RT 5.9, the build being from this link My Mac is the 2021 M1 Macbook Pro (16"), 32GB RAM, Mac OS Monterey 12.8. My question is if there’s something that I could do to prevent this? Is there a setting I should change to get the program to ‘speak’ more happily with my computer? I might do 2 hours of work without issue (not often), but much more commonly I seem to get a lot of crashed while editing. Like, sometimes after 1 minute of editing. Since getting RT 5.8, but now on my second build of 5.9, I seem to get crashes all the time. I have the 2TB in a USB case now, but I've ordered a OWC FW case and will wait for that before begining the process.I know posts have been made about RT crashing, but they seem to be when performing a specific function for other people. But before I do that, I will make another clone of Snow Leopard (just to have a way to go back). Since I already have 2 other 2TB external, this one is just for play (for now).Īt some point, after I'm happy that Mavericks works on the external, I will apply the update to the internal drive. I will clone my Snow Leopard internal to one 500GB partition. But for right now, I want to just make sure all my "important" applications work. ![]() ![]() Once I go to Mavericks I will probably upgrade to the newest version of Logic Pro X (I currently use Logic Express), which includes all the Apple Loops as part of the application. Since I plan to "upgrade", and not do a "clean install", I'm hoping that that will be a non-issue, since the loops should already be there. The only thing I need Rosetta for is to install my Apple Loops (that came on DVD many years ago).
